A decent migrant weekend

Mill Creek marsh was my target with my aspiring Digiscoping student Joe P, it seems like Song Sparrows were singing everywhere this Guy had the morning Sun a glaring.

When we stumbled on some Lesser Yellowlegs obviously exhausted from a long flight it was a recipe for some great Photo opportunities

And the was no shortage of Red Winged Blackbird's singing on territory ,,it was some of the best oops I had with them at Mill Creek.
Spring is here so grab your Scope and Cam and take advantagee of these abundant beauties.

Migrants trickle in

I had the chance today to observe both the Tan phase/White Phase versions of the White Throat Sparrow and got some decent captures ,, I was noticing the aggressiveness of the White Phase keep,s the more submissive demeanor of the Tan phased at bay .

Song Sparrows were singing like forever searching for there mates along with nesting Tree Swallows.

Belted Kingfisher and others

Garret Mountain today was slow pretty much the Pine and Palm Warblers were out of my range ,so I had to settle for some more Killdeers and a Belted Kingfisher which was taken at about 100 feet with the Kowa 884/NikonV1 combo.
